Learning is Fun at JLL
Volunteer With Us
Tutors, Teachers, Mentors and Sponsors Join Us!
We rely on the good work of capable volunteers to tutor and mentor our students. Volunteers
are from a variety of backgrounds, including current undergraduate teaching students, college graduates, teachers, attorneys, and other passionate community members/business leaders.
Volunteers are needed for 2-3 hours per week for the duration of the school year in a one-on-one tutor-student virtual environment. We also have in-person tutoring sessions. A typical session consists of assisting students with their homework and challenging coursework. JLL provides a database of resources based on Common Core Curriculum taught in public schools in order to align appropriately with student-learning sessions.
We are also in need of corporate/business sponsorship, in addition to tutors, teachers or other volunteers to support student social development sessions with crafts and other activities, family parent-student gatherings, and excursions.
If you or someone you know is interested in giving back to the community by supporting our students, please contact us at jlearninglab@gmail.com for more information and to request an application!
